The SUBE ESL/EFL Curriculum-Beginner kit is an English curriculum for second language learners and foreign language learners. Included are all the ESL instruction materials you need to teach throughout the year for beginning level students.
The Sube ESL instruction materials are organized by themes. The themes for the Level A-Beginner kit are Animals, Food, Home, Verbs, Body, Clothes, Places and Opposites. Also integrated into the curriculum are the basics such as colors, numbers, shapes, the alphabet, ESL phonics materials and more.
Each SUBE theme integrates a series of multisensory activities that reinforce the vocabulary and skills for that unit, and assure that the diverse learning modalities of your class are being met. They include a music video, an art project, an action game, worksheets to practice reading and writing, and interactive card games, such as Yeehaw! Bingo, Memory and Go Fish.
The English Beginner Level A kit provides mirror content from the Spanish Beginner Level A kit and can be a powerful tool when used together. For example in Dual Language classrooms, or at the preschool and kindergarten level where the same basic language skills are just being developed.
